Antiguo colgante soberano victoriano de oro amarillo de 22 quilates engarzado en una montura de oro amarillo de 9 quilates. La moneda data de 1901 y es de Perth en Australia.
La reina Victoria murió en 1901, lo que la convierte en una de las últimas monedas acuñadas durante su reinado. Un poco más de 3 millones de soberanos fueron puestos en circulación en la Casa de la Moneda de Australia en Perth.
Este soberano presenta la tercera efigie de la reina Victoria utilizada en la acuñación de monedas. El nuevo retrato fue creado por Thomas Brock RA; fue seleccionado entre seis diseños en un concurso en 1891 y fue acuñado por primera vez en 1893.
