Descripción
Antiguo broche de camafeo de oro amarillo eduardiano. Este hermoso broche presenta un camafeo de concha tallada que representa a una dama con rizos en el cabello. La dama está ligeramente levantada en un blanco roto sobre un fondo de color salmón.
En la parte posterior del broche hay una serie de pequeños sellos que indican que la pieza está engastada en oro amarillo de 9 quilates con sello de Birmingham.
Las joyas con camafeo se hicieron muy populares a principios del siglo XIX. Los camafeos presentan mujeres romanas. Las mujeres victorianas del Grand Tour trajeron a casa estas piezas de lugares como Italia y Grecia.
