Antiguo colgante de flores de estilo eduardiano con semillas de perlas y una amatista en forma de pera engarzada en oro laminado. El colgante cuelga de una nueva cadena de oro de 9 quilates.
El oro laminado es un metal híbrido que consiste en una capa gruesa de oro que se fusiona con calor para crear uno o ambos lados de un metal base de latón o cobre. Por lo general, el oro laminado consta de un 5% de oro. Este proceso fue patentado en Inglaterra en 1817; se hizo popular en las décadas de 1920 y 1930 y se usó en joyería vintage de alta calidad. El oro laminado es de mejor calidad que las joyas chapadas en oro.
