Antiguo colgante de ojal plegable de plata eduardiana ensartado en una nueva cadena de plata de ley. La pieza tiene una serie de sellos que indican que la pieza fue sellada en Birmingham, Inglaterra.
Se usaron ganchos para botones para guiar un botón a través del lazo en guantes y zapatos. Las mujeres victorianas y eduardianas usaban sus guantes muy ceñidos sin duda para enfatizar sus delicadas muñecas. Durante la Primera Guerra Mundial, el cuero se volvió escaso, los zapatos altos pasaron de moda y se llevaron ganchos con botones junto con ellos.
