Las joyas georgianas son muy buscadas. Los orfebres de este período eran muy hábiles.
Nuestro impresionante anillo georgiano antiguo cuenta con perlas de semillas blancas y piedras preciosas de granate de talla plana grandes engarzadas en oro amarillo de 9 quilates. En el centro del anillo hay un panel de vidrio con una hermosa pieza de cabello asegurada en el interior.
La joyería de luto se remonta al siglo XVI, se hizo popular en la era victoriana cuando el Príncipe Alberto falleció cuando la Reina Victoria se puso de luto. Las piezas de joyería de luto más interesantes incluyen el trabajo del cabello, que no era necesariamente del difunto, gran parte del cabello se importó de Europa para satisfacer la demanda. Se utilizó para crear una conexión entre un ser querido disminuido.
Este anillo especial era originalmente un broche, se convirtió de un broche en un anillo. El mango fue hecho a mano con oro amarillo de 9 quilates.

CONDICIÓN
El anillo está en excelentes condiciones antiguas. Falta una pequeña pieza de oro alrededor de uno de los granates. Nuestro orfebre no puede reparar esto debido a la antigüedad de la pieza, sin embargo, el granate está seguro. Anillos como este están pensados para ocasiones especiales, ya que es muy antiguo hay que tener cuidado.
