Descripción
Antiguo relicario victoriano engastado en plata de ley. El relicario tiene una parte posterior sencilla con hermosos adornos ornamentales en el frente. La pieza tiene una serie de marcas que indican que la pieza fue punzonada en 1859 y está engastada en plata de ley. En el interior de la pieza hay dos compartimentos donde se podrían guardar dos cuadros de gran tamaño.
El relicario es quizás la pieza de joyería más misteriosa y seductora. Solo el usuario sabe qué secretos se esconden dentro del relicario. Tiene que ser la última muestra de amor. Durante la época victoriana, las jóvenes victorianas escondían la imagen de un hombre al que admiraban, y si el hombre ofrecía un mechón de cabello, por lo general seguía una propuesta de matrimonio. Los medallones se consideraban una declaración de intención de casarse.
