El broche está rodeado de pequeñas bolas de plata, un diseño victoriano clásico, la forma de herradura simboliza la 'Buena Suerte'. El broche se asegura con un clásico cierre victoriano en forma de "c".
El broche tiene una serie de sellos que indican que el broche fue hecho por los fabricantes WT en Birmingham, Inglaterra, con plata esterlina en 1888.
