Antiguo broche de barra victoriano de oro amarillo de 9 quilates con perlas de semilla con una piedra preciosa facetada de amatista morada. La barra del broche tiene forma cóncava creando una ligera forma de 'c' dentro del diseño. El alfiler se asegura con un broche abierto en forma de "c", un broche típico de la era victoriana. En la parte posterior del broche hay varios sellos descoloridos y una marca del fabricante. La pieza ha sido ensayada en oro amarillo de 9 ct.
Las perlas de semillas en la época victoriana se asociaron con una serie de símbolos como la inocencia, la pureza, la humildad y la armonía. La amatista es la piedra de nacimiento de febrero.
