Cada piedra preciosa de granate ha sido cortada para reflejar la luz, las piedras son de color rojo intenso y cambian de color a medida que la luz se mueve a su alrededor. Plata dorada es un término que se usa para colocar oro sobre plata.
Los granates se utilizaron ampliamente en todos los diferentes diseños de joyería victoriana, pulseras, anillos, broches y collares elaborados, representan la piedra natal de enero.
