Antiguo anillo victoriano maltés con tres rubíes y cuatro perlas de aljófar. El anillo presenta una cruz de Malta, este símbolo está asociado con la Orden de San Juan desde la Edad Media y la isla de Malta. El anillo tiene una serie de sellos que indican que la pieza es de oro amarillo de 15 quilates con sello en Birmingham, Inglaterra.
En el siglo XV, la Cruz de Malta representaba ocho países de los Caballeros Hospitalarios: Auvernia, Provenza, Francia, Aragón, Castilla y Portugal, Italia, Alemania e Inglaterra.
