Anillo de diamantes victoriano antiguo, con un diamante de talla antigua de 0,45 quilates engarzado en oro amarillo de 18 quilates. Este único diamante de talla antigua está engastado en una montura de garra.
Un diamante antiguo de corte mínimo se midió a simple vista y se cortó a mano, era el corte de diamante más común a principios del siglo XVIII y finales del XIX. Un antiguo diamante talla mina se puede reconocer por su forma aplastada, tiene 58 facetas similar a los diamantes talla brillante de hoy en día aunque tiene una forma y proporciones diferentes. Los diamantes de talla antigua tienen una tabla más pequeña, un culet más grande y una corona más alta.
