Broche de lagarto de plata Art Deco de la década de 1920 con impresionantes piedras de marcasita facetadas sobre el cuerpo y las piernas. Este broche realista está engastado con ojos de color naranja brillante. Las marcasitas son en realidad pirita, también conocida como Fools Gold. Se utilizaba en joyería por su capacidad de captar la luz, dando un efecto de diamante.
Las joyas de lagarto se hicieron muy populares en la era victoriana y continuaron hasta la década de 1920. Los victorianos disfrutaban de piezas novedosas que incluían muchos tipos diferentes de animales.
