La morganita fue descubierta en 1910 por George Kunz en Madagascar. La pieza lleva el nombre de su amigo JP Morgan agradeciéndole su financiación. JP Morgan fue uno de los coleccionistas de gemas más importantes a principios del siglo XX.
Nuestro llamativo anillo de piedras preciosas de morganita de 9,3 quilates está engarzado en una hermosa montura de oro rosa de 9 quilates. La morganita ovalada está rodeada por pétalos de zafiro rosa en forma de marquesa y dos coronas de diamantes redondos.
