Broche de esfinge vintage en tono dorado de los años 60. Impresionante broche curvo de aurora boreal azul con piedras de diamante engastadas redondas y talla marquesa en capas con lunas crecientes con incrustaciones de diamante. El broche está en excelente estado vintage, mide 6,5 cm de diámetro, 5 cm de ancho y 0,5 cm de profundidad. La pieza está chamuscada en la parte inferior del broche 'SPHNIX".
SOBRE EL DISEÑADOR
Sphinx fue fundada por S. Root en 1948 en Chiswick, Inglaterra. La empresa empleaba a 200-300 personas que fabricaban joyas de alta calidad. Las piezas fueron bellamente diseñadas y reconocidas ÌÇ_en muchos casos para parecer reales. Elaboraron collares, pulseras, colgantes, broches, aretes y dijes, elaborados en plata y metales en tonos dios. ÌÇ_Los diseños de joyería incluyen el uso de piedras de colores y ÌÇ_aurora boreal junto con perlas simuladas. Además de su propia colección de joyas, Sphinx producía joyas para empresas de gama alta y grandes almacenes, entre ellos, ÌÇ_Kenneth J. Lane. Butler y Wilson, Marks y Spencer, Saks 5th Avenue y Bloomingdales. Sphinx dejó de comercializarse en 2000 y, por lo tanto, es muy coleccionable en la actualidad.
