Broche de barra de oro turquesa y perla victoriana de 1837-1901. A mediados de siglo, el tema de la tradición de las gemas se hizo muy popular. Para los victorianos, se pensaba que una piedra preciosa turquesa preservaba la vista y protegía de lesiones. Incluso hoy en día en el noreste, hay un proverbio que dice 'Que una turquesa dada por una mano amorosa trae consigo felicidad y buena fortuna'. Además, las perlas tenían múltiples significados, principalmente estaban asociadas con la "belleza".
El broche está en excelentes condiciones vintage y mide 4 cm / 1,5" de largo y 4 mm / 0,1" de ancho.
