Vintage 1920's Damascene Shakudo Japonesa pulsera de cadena de oro y plata.
Este brazalete inusual representa escenas japonesas en oro de 24 quilates y plata esterlina usando una técnica llamada 'Damasquinado'. Este proceso es el arte de incrustar diferentes metales entre sí, en este caso oro y plata sobre un fondo de acero oxidado. Esta técnica tiene una larga historia en Japón. Este tipo de joyería también se conoce como Shakudo. Sabemos que la pieza tiene una incrustación de oro de 24 quilates porque está indicado en el diseño marcado como '24K'.
Lo más probable es que este brazalete haya sido traído de Japón en la década de 1920 como recuerdo. El brazalete representa escenas de montañas, mariposas, casas y el monte Fuji.
