Descripción
Vintage Art Deco 1930s Broche de nácar con la palabra 'Our Mam' escrita. Este tipo de broche generalmente se lo entregaba a una dama de parte de su novio o hijo, a menudo un soldado o marinero antes de que se fuera al servicio, como muestra de afecto.
La palabra 'Our Mam' está montada en un alambre de oro enrollado sobre una base de nácar y asegurada con un cierre abierto en forma de "c" de oro enrollado. El oro laminado es una fina capa de oro sobre un metal base y se fusiona mediante calentamiento. El broche tiene un pequeño corazón, un ancla y una cruz colgando de la parte inferior con la oración del señor escrita en él.
El ancla, la cruz y el corazón representan la Fe, la Esperanza y la Caridad. En la era victoriana, un ancla simbolizaba la esperanza y la constancia, el símbolo a menudo iba acompañado de un corazón y una cruz que simbolizaban "Fe, esperanza y caridad". Fe, Esperanza y Caridad son un grupo de santos cristianos mártires.
