Descripción
El oro laminado es un metal híbrido que consta de finas capas de oro que se fusionan con calor para crear uno o ambos lados del metal base de latón o cobre. Las capas se laminan en láminas y contienen un 5 % de oro. El proceso fue patentado en Inglaterra en 1817, se hizo popular en las décadas de 1920 y 1930 y se usó en bisutería de alta calidad.
