Collar de diseñador vintage de los años 80 de Napier. Este llamativo collar negro y dorado fue diseñado y fabricado por la casa de bisutería 'Napier'. El collar presenta un colgante central de esmalte negro con cuentas negras y doradas. El collar tiene la firma 'Napier' en la parte posterior del colgante y el cierre.
SOBRE EL DISEÑADOR
Aunque la historia de Napier se remonta a finales del siglo XIX, cuando la empresa EA Bliss fabricaba platería, así como joyas doradas y plateadas, la palabra Napier no se asoció con la bisutería hasta la década de 1920. La compañía fabricó collares, aretes y otras piezas del Renacimiento egipcio durante la década de 1920 (entre otros estilos), sobresaliendo en el trabajo en metal acentuado con piedras de imitación. A fines de la década de 1930, estrellas de cine como Sonja Henie y Lana Turner usaban Napier. Después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, Napier era conocido por sus broches y collares de oro rosa realzados con pedrería transparente y de colores, así como por sus audaces amuletos y pulseras.
