Antiguo broche de alas de estilo eduardiano con una gran turmalina redonda y diminutas perlas de aljófar. El broche está engastado en oro amarillo de 15 quilates.
Lo más probable es que la turmalina fuera una adición posterior a esta pieza, aunque es posible que nunca lo sepamos. Es un impresionante color azul profundo.

Descubierta por un conquistador español en el siglo XVI, una hermosa turmalina verde brillante fue confundida con una esmeralda. No fue sino hasta el siglo XIX que se identificó esta hermosa familia de piedras. Las turmalinas vienen en una impresionante variedad de colores. Estas hermosas piedras son la piedra natal de octubre y el octavo aniversario de bodas.
