Antiguo estuche soberano victoriano de plata de 1898-1899 en Inglaterra. El estuche tiene un botón en la parte superior del colgante el cual al presionarlo suelta el frente de la pieza, dentro del estuche se puede asegurar un solo soberano. En la época victoriana la hoja de hiedra simbolizaba el amor, el cariño, la fidelidad, la amistad y el cariño
Desafortunadamente, hoy en día no usamos soberanos y el propósito original de la pieza no se puede realizar con dinero moderno, sin embargo, el estuche podría usarse como relicario para una imagen o recuerdo asegurado en el compartimiento de resorte.
La pieza tiene dos punzones la caja data de 1898-1899 y el aro de la tapa punzona 1972-1973 Lo más probable es que la pieza esté arreglada.
