Description
L'époque victorienne utilisait les étoiles et les lunes pour faire l'objet de nombreux objets d'art, des bijoux aux vêtements en verre. Les étoiles symbolisaient "l'esprit, l'orientation et la direction" pour son porteur.
Notre bague ancienne date de 1915 au début de la première guerre mondiale lorsque George V était sur le trône britannique. La bague comporte trois étoiles serties d'une pierre d'améthyste sertie d'or rose 9 carats. Les pierres auraient été serties à la main, chaque grain d'or étant poussé sur la pierre créant cette belle forme d'étoile.
La bague a été poinçonnée en 1915 à Birmingham, en Angleterre.
