Antique Double Albert Watch Silver Chain
Description
This sterling silver double Albert chain is a classic example of late 19th to early 20th century gentleman’s jewellery, originally designed to secure a pocket watch while allowing additional attachments such as keys, fobs, or seals. The chain features two matching curb-style strands connected by a central T-bar, creating the balanced, functional form that became a staple of Victorian and Edwardian dress.
Crafted in solid silver, the links are well proportioned with a pleasing weight and fluidity, finished with an Albert clasp and swivel hook.
