Notre superbe boîte à bibelots en papier mâché noir présente une coquille d'ormeau dans un motif en damier. La boite date de l'époque victorienne, il s'agirait d'une tabatière. Le tabac à priser était un mélange de tabac moulu et d'huile parfumée, une habitude à la mode au XVIIIe siècle. Cette boîte très décorative sera parfaite pour vos bijoux précieux. Le papier mâché est devenu l'un des métiers les plus populaires en Angleterre à la fin du XVIIIe siècle. Un processus de superposition de feuilles de papier qui ont été superposées, laquées et huilées avant d'être cuites.
