Dans le symbolisme victorien, le papillon représentait l'âme. Au sein de la religion, le cycle d'un papillon a un sens - la vie (chenille), la mort (chrysalide), la renaissance ou la résurrection (papillon).
Bracelet Moth / Butterfly vintage des années 1950 avec des détails en filigrane. Chaque papillon sur le bracelet a deux paires d'ailes qui dépassent donnant à la broche un effet 3D plus prononcé. Il s'agit d'un magnifique bracelet avec une énorme quantité de travail qui a été consacré à sa fabrication.
Le filigrane est une forme délicate de travail du métal en argent ou en or créant un effet de dentelle. Ce style de bijoux était très populaire en Italie et en France à la fin du XIXe siècle.
