About our bracelets and bangles
From finely engraved Victorian silver bangles to Edwardian gold and gemstone pieces and colorful Art Deco celluloid, this collection shows how wrist jewelry has changed over more than a century.
What to look for
Victorian bangles are often hinged, with a concealed clasp, and decorated with hand engraving: flowers, ivy and scrolling leaves. Many are hallmarked inside, so you can tell where and when they were made. Celluloid bangles from the 1920s to 1940s are an early form of plastic and charmingly playful, though more delicate than metal.
Finding the right fit
Each description gives the internal measurements of a bangle. Measure the widest part of your hand, across the knuckles, for slip-on bangles, or your wrist for hinged bangles, and compare. If you're unsure, contact us and we'll help.
Questions
Can antique bangles be resized?
Solid bangles generally can't be resized without damaging them, so please check the measurements carefully before ordering.
How should I care for a celluloid bangle?
Celluloid is delicate and inflexible. Avoid stretching it, keep it away from heat and store it on its own.
How should I clean a silver bangle?
A soft silver polishing cloth is all it needs. Read our cleaning guide.
