About Us
Mayveda is named after my great-great-grandmother, Mayveda Comyn, whose love of jewelry was handed down through our family.
Meet Tiffany
When I was a child, my family had an ornate jewelry box that had been passed down through the generations. Opening it felt like opening the past. Every piece had been worn and loved by someone before me, and I wanted to know who. That box started a lifelong fascination with antique jewelry and the stories it carries.
I founded Mayveda in 2011 to share pieces that honor the craftsmanship of the past and still feel right to wear today.
I’m a Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A) and a GIA-certified diamond grader.
Fifteen years later, Mayveda is based in New York. I still choose every antique piece myself, and I design By Mayveda, our own collection, inspired by the jewelry I love most.
What we believe
We want to live in a world where jewelry is truly valued, including the pieces we already own. We believe in buying less and buying well, and in repairing and restoring jewelry so it can be passed down. For us it’s about style that lasts, not the latest trend: future heirlooms for people who love craftsmanship, history and pieces no one else has.
What we do
Antique engagement rings
