Vintage Art Deco 1930s broche de nácar con la palabra 'Madre'. Este tipo de broche generalmente se lo entregaba a una dama de parte de su novio o hijo, a menudo un soldado o marinero antes de que se fuera al servicio, como muestra de afecto.
La palabra 'Madre' está montada en un alambre de oro laminado sobre una base de nácar y asegurada con un cierre abierto en forma de 'c' de oro laminado. El oro laminado es una fina capa de oro sobre un metal base y se fusiona mediante calentamiento.
