Description
Pendentif édouardien antique avec un grenat central serti en or rose 9 carats entouré d'un cœur. Ces types de pendentifs ont été nommés pendentifs Lavalier popularisés par la duchesse de la Vallière, une maîtresse du roi Louis XIV de France. Au dos du pendentif, il y a la marque '9ct'.
Le pendentif est entre l'or rose et l'or jaune. La pièce pouvait être portée sur une chaîne en or rose et jaune.
Les grenats ont été largement utilisés dans tous les différents modèles de bijoux victoriens, bracelets, bagues, broches et colliers élaborés, ils représentent la pierre de naissance de janvier.
