Description
Broche barre camée en or jaune édouardien antique. Cette belle broche présente un camée coquillage sculpté représentant une dame avec des boucles dans les cheveux. La dame est légèrement surélevée dans un blanc cassé sur un fond couleur saumon.
Au dos de la broche, il y a un certain nombre de très petits poinçons, cela indique que la pièce est sertie d'or jaune 9 carats poinçonné à Birmingham.
Les bijoux camée sont devenus très populaires au début du 19e siècle. Les camées présentent des femmes romaines. Les femmes victoriennes du Grand Tour ont ramené ces pièces d'endroits comme l'Italie et la Grèce.
