Pendentif édouardien antique avec pierres précieuses de grenat et perles de rocaille serties dans une monture en or jaune 9 carats.
Ces types de pendentifs ont été nommés pendentifs Lavalier popularisés par la duchesse de la Vallière, une maîtresse du roi Louis XIV de France.
Les grenats ont été largement utilisés dans tous les différents modèles de bijoux victoriens, bracelets, bagues, broches et colliers élaborés, ils représentent la pierre de naissance de janvier.
