Collier de cas de timbre d'argent édouardien antique
Description
Etui à timbres en argent ancien. Le pendentif est gravé au dos du boîtier avec les initiales « RB » dans une superbe écriture. L'étui a été conçu à l'origine pour stocker des timbres, mais il serait parfait pour une photo ou un moment semblable à un médaillon.
Nous pensons qu'une lettre d'amour miniature serait incroyablement romantique. On dit que l'âge d'or de ces petits étuis se situe entre 1890 et 1915. Les designers victoriens ont créé de nombreux types et motifs différents.
Le pendentif a un certain nombre de marques indiquant que la pièce a été poinçonnée à Chester, en Angleterre et qu'elle est en argent. Le poinçon est légèrement usé mais il date très probablement de l'époque édouardienne.
