Description
Pendentif boutonnière pliante en argent édouardien antique enfilé sur une nouvelle chaîne en argent sterling. La pièce a un certain nombre de poinçons indiquant que la pièce a été poinçonnée à Birmingham, en Angleterre.
Les crochets de bouton étaient utilisés pour guider un bouton à travers la boucle des gants et des chaussures. Les femmes victoriennes et édouardiennes portaient leurs gants très confortablement sans aucun doute pour mettre en valeur leurs poignets délicats. Pendant la Première Guerre mondiale, le cuir est devenu rare, les chaussures montantes se sont démodées, emportant avec elles des crochets à boutons.
