La pièce a le portrait de George V et autour de la pièce, il est écrit "George V King Emperor". Au dos de la pièce, il est écrit 1/4 de roupie 1913. George V était empereur des Indes de 1910 à 1936. L'Inde a obtenu son indépendance de la Grande-Bretagne en 1948. La broche et la pièce sont serties d'argent.
La pièce provient de la Monnaie de Calcutta.
