Broche 'Mizpah' victorienne antique en argent sterling. Cette belle broche est très décorée de feuilles et de boules. Sur le devant de la broche est dit 'Mispah' et 'Le Seigneur veille entre moi et trois', 'Quand nous sommes absents l'un de l'autre'. Les poinçons indiquent que la pièce a été fabriquée en 1892, elle est sertie d'argent sterling. La pièce a été poinçonnée à Birmingham, en Angleterre.
Les bijoux Mizpah étaient incroyablement populaires, le mot est une source biblique : Genèse, chapitre 31, verset 49, où se lit "Et Mizpah, car il a dit que le Seigneur veille entre moi et trois quand nous sommes absents l'un de l'autre". Mitspa signifiait littéralement une tour de guet.
