Pour les Victoriens, une pierre précieuse turquoise était censée préserver la vue et protéger des blessures. Aujourd'hui encore dans le nord-est, il y a un proverbe disant 'qu'une turquoise donnée par une main aimante porte avec elle le bonheur et la bonne fortune'. De plus, les perles avaient plusieurs significations, principalement associées à la « beauté ».
Notre superbe broche victorienne est ornée d'une turquoise bleu vif et d'une minuscule perle sertie dans de l'or jaune 9 carats.
