Broche en nacre vintage Art Déco des années 1930 avec le mot 'Mère'. Ce type de broche était généralement offert à une femme par son amoureux ou son fils, souvent un soldat ou un marin avant son départ pour le service, en signe d'affection.
Le mot 'Mère' est monté dans un fil d'or enroulé sur une base en nacre et sécurisé avec un fermoir en 'c' ouvert en or roulé. L'or laminé est une fine couche d'or sur un métal de base et fusionnée par chauffage.
