Our Wren pendant features a stunning hand-cut frosted rock crystal gemstone set into a beautiful scalloped design in sterling silver. Rock crystal is the purest variety of quartz; it is transparent and colorless. The name derives from the Greek term krustallos, meaning 'ice'. Quartz is known as a "master healer" and is said to amplify energy and thought, absorbing, storing, releasing and regulating energy.
Drawing inspiration from fine antique and vintage jewelry, Tiffany of Mayveda set out to take her passion for beautiful objects one step further by designing her first piece, inspired by the English countryside of her childhood. The Wren pendant was designed in London by Tiffany and meticulously crafted by a small team of artisans in the heart of the Hatton Garden jewelry district. The name ‘The Wren’ comes from the beautiful song of the tiny bird singing in our English country garden.
