Garnet gemstones are the birthstone of January. The beautiful stones have been extremely popular since the 18th and 19th century, the gemstones are the ideal gem for that extravagant effect. Victorian garnets were faceted and clustered together for maximum effect, they are very romantic.
Antique Victorian pendant featuring Garnets set in a warm ornate 9ct yellow gold setting. The pendant hangs on a new 9ct gold chain.
The piece was converted from a brooch into a pendant by our expert Master Goldsmith in Hatton Garden London. The necklace is set on a heavy 9ct gold chain.
