Vintage 1960s Sterling Silver Bangle Bracelet

Vintage 1960s bangle set in sterling silver, the bangle is slightly oval with beautiful engravings. The bracelet has a number of hallmarks indicating the bracelet was made in 1961 in Chester, England from sterling silver. The inside of the bangle is hollow.

The bracelet has and unusual patented opening mechanism compared to the classic safety chain. As the bracelet opens it smoothly slides along another piece of silver, an excellent design feature.

The bracelet measures 5.6cm / 2.2" by 5.5cm / 2.2" in diameter. The bracelet is 0.9cm / 0.3" in height.

MEASURING YOUR WRIST

Use a tape measure. Wrap the tape measure around the wrist on which you plan to wear your MAYVEDA bracelet. Make a note of the number at the point where the tape meets the 0. To ensure the bracelet fits comfortably, add 1.5 cm. You can then add or subtract centimetres according to whether you prefer a loose, exact or tight fit.

The bracelet is in excellent vintage condition.
