Antique Edwardian bar brooch featuring a central oval opal set in a 9ct rose gold setting. The opal is bezel set with a stunning lustre.
The opal gemstone has iridescent speckles of greens, pinks and blues. In the Victorian era Opal symbolised fidelity and assurance. Opal is the birthstone for October and the stone is also given on the 14th wedding anniversary.
