Vintage 1930s Art Nouveau earrings featuring a floral design set in silver. These beautiful earrings are set with enamel. Enamel is powdered glass which is heated to a very high temperature, as the powder melts it flows and solidifies.
Art Nouveau is an ornamental style of art that became popular between about 1890 and 1910. It is characterised by its use of long organic curved lines and shapes intertwined with flowers and foliage and used in jewellery, fabrics and art designs.
