This sterling silver double Albert chain is a classic example of late 19th to early 20th century gentleman’s jewellery, originally designed to secure a pocket watch while allowing additional attachments such as keys, fobs, or seals. The chain features two matching curb-style strands connected by a central T-bar, creating the balanced, functional form that became a staple of Victorian and Edwardian dress.
Crafted in solid silver, the links are well proportioned with a pleasing weight and fluidity, finished with an Albert clasp and swivel hook. Today, double Albert chains are widely worn as statement necklaces, layered chains, or styling pieces, offering both versatility and historical character while retaining their original integrity.
