Description
Vintage c.1950s pendant featuring St Christopher set into a 9ct yellow gold disc. St. Christopher offered protection to travellers and against sudden death, he is pictured as a giant man with a child on his shoulder and a staff in one hand. In England there are more images of St. Christopher than any other saint. In England, it is traditional to gift a small St. Christopher pendant for a new born baby on their Christening.

The pendant measures 1cm / 0.3" in diameter, the pendant hangs from a new 9ct yellow gold chain measuring 18" / 45.7cm.
