Historically it is believed sapphires symbolise truth, sincerity and faithfulness. It is also believed to have curative properties and to keep one safe from illness and protect against poison and spells. Sapphire is the birthstone of September.
Our 1907 ring features small blue sapphires and diamonds set into an ornate 18ct gold band. The ring has a number of marks indicating the ring was in Birmingham, England from 18ct gold in 1907.
