Vintage 1930s Garnet Diamond 18ct Gold Platinum Ring
Description
Vintage 1930s gemstone ring featuring a faceted red garnet gemstone surrounded by a halo of diamonds set in platinum and 18ct yellow gold. This charming ring dates back to the 1930s, it is marked 18ct & PLAT.
Garnet gemstones are the birthstone of Janaury. The beautiful stones have been extremely popular since the 18th and 19th century, the gemstones are the ideal gem for that extravagant effect. Victorian garnets were faceted and clustered together for maximum effect, they are very romantic.
WHY WE LOVE IT
The white halo created by platinum and diamonds really frame this oval garnet. As the garnet catches the light you can see bright flashes of red.
