Turquoise was popular during the Romantic and Aesthetic periods of the Victorian era. They believed the stone brought good fortune and protected the wearer from evil and harm. The Victorians also enjoyed the pop of colour against the richness of gold.
Our beautiful turquoise cabochon features a oval turquoise stone set in 9ct yellow gold, with a rope and twisted halo. The ring is was hallmarked in London, England in 1995 set in 9ct yellow gold.
