Antique Edwardian Chalcedony gemstone gold plated silver earrings. These beautiful pieces feature rounded lilac translucent chalcedony gemstone. The earrings hang from new 9ct yellow gold earring wires.
The earrings were originally used as ornate buttons. In the Victorian and Edwardian era buttons where just as important as jewellery, even in mourning, women wore special black glass buttons on their mourning clothes.
