Art Deco 1922 Silver Watch Chain Necklace Choker
Description
Vintage 1922 Art Deco watch chain necklace set in sterling silver. The watch chain is designed for the gentleman's pocket watch which would have sat in his top waistcoat pocket. This piece has been extended using one antique ring to be worn as a necklace.
The chain has lion hallmarks on each link on the chain indicating the piece is 'sterling silver'. The clips are hallmarked with the makers mark B&S and letter 'X' indicating the piece dates back to 1922. The t-bar dates back to 1933 indicated by the letter 'S'. The necklace was handmade in London, England. The necklace has a great amount of history, it is a pleasure to wear.
