In Victorian symbolism, the butterfly represented the soul. Within religion, the cycle of a butterfly has meaning - life (caterpillar), death (chrysalis), rebirth or resurrection (butterfly).
Our pink enamel butterfly is set in 9ct yellow gold, made in Italy most probably in the 1990s.
